Pool remodeling in Scottsdale

Scottsdale pools range from older ranch-home pools in the south to custom builds on desert lots up north. We serve the whole city from our office in west Phoenix.

Two ends of the city, two kinds of jobs

Scottsdale runs a long way from south to north, and its pools change along the way. South Scottsdale has many older ranch homes, and those pools tend to need repair work before they get a new surface.

Up north, more pools are custom builds with spas, water features and natural stone. Those jobs are less about fixing damage. They're about matching what's already there.

Stone, tile and edges that have to match

Many north Scottsdale pools have stone coping, glass or mosaic tile, or a raised spa that spills into the pool. When one part wears out, a new piece that doesn't match stands out.

So we look at every surface before we price the job. If the old stone or tile can't be matched, we'll say so at the visit and talk through replacing the full run.

Scottsdale pool questions

Can't find your answer? Call (602) 550-8627.

Do you have an office in Scottsdale?

No. Our office is at 8940 W Sells Dr in west Phoenix, and our own crews travel to East Valley jobs, Scottsdale included. The first visit is free.

My north Scottsdale pool has flagstone coping. Can you match it?

Often, but natural stone varies from one batch to the next. We'll look at yours and tell you if a full new run of coping would look better than a patch.

My south Scottsdale pool has cracks. Is it worth remodeling?

Usually. We repair structural cracks before the new finish goes on, so the new surface has a sound base. The repair is priced into your estimate.

Can you resurface a pool with a spa that spills into it?

Yes. The spa can get the same finish so the two match. We also check the tile on the spillway, since hard water scale tends to build up there.

Which finish suits a custom pool?

Pebble and mini pebble give a natural, textured look that pairs well with stone decks. Quartz is smoother underfoot and comes in plenty of colors. We'll help you compare them at your visit.

Can I finance a Scottsdale remodel?

Yes, through Lyon Financial. We'll cover it at your free estimate along with timing, since most remodels take 1 to 4 weeks.

A free visit. At your pool.

Tell us what you'd like to change. We'll set up a time to meet at your pool and talk it through.
