Pool remodeling in Anthem
Del Webb began building Anthem around 1999, off I-17 north of Phoenix. Its early pools have had many summers of sun and hard water, and that is when an original finish and tile start to show wear.

Pools of the same age wear out together
Many of Anthem's homes went up around the same time, so their pools are close in age too. When one pool on the street needs a new finish, the ones nearby often aren't far behind.
A finish that feels rough or looks blotchy is the usual first sign. We check the shell, tile, and skimmers too. Parts that went in together tend to wear out together.

Check with your HOA before changing the deck
Anthem has HOA rules, and changes people can see from outside your yard may need approval. A new interior finish is usually out of view. Decking, walls, and hardscaping can be a different story.
Ask your HOA what it needs to see before you plan deck or wall work. We can talk it through at your visit, and it's best to have approval in hand before that part is scheduled.

Some pools need a cleanup, not a new finish
Not every Anthem pool is ready for a resurface. If the surface is stained but still smooth and sound, our Revival Package may be enough for now. It's a deep clean plus a protective treatment for the finish.

Do I need HOA approval for a pool remodel in Anthem?
It depends on the work. A new interior finish usually can't be seen from outside, but deck, wall, and hardscape changes often can. Check your HOA's rules first, and bring any questions to your free visit.
My Anthem pool still has its first finish. Is it time to resurface?
Not always. If the walls feel rough, stains won't scrub out, or you see bare spots, it probably is. We'll tell you at the free estimate if the Revival Package will do instead.
Should I replace the original tile at the same time?
Often, yes. Tile and finish work meet at the waterline, so doing them together is usually simpler than two separate jobs. It also lets you pick a tile and finish that go together.
How far north along I-17 do you work?
Anthem is part of our service area, and so is New River just to the north. The first visit is free either way.
How long does a remodel take in Anthem?
Most remodels take 1 to 4 weeks, and you get the schedule in writing before we start. If your HOA has to approve part of the job, leave room for that before we start.
What happens at the free estimate?
We come to your home and look over the finish, shell, tile, and skimmers. Then we write the estimate around what you want to change. The visit costs nothing.
