Pool remodeling in New River

New River is a rural area along I-17 north of Phoenix, with big lots and open desert. Homes sit far apart out here. We remodel and repair pools on these lots and plan for what rural land brings.

Refilling the pool is part of the plan

A new finish means draining the pool and filling it back up. The fill should run without stopping until the pool is full. On a city water line, that's simple.

If your home runs on a well or hauled water, tell us at the visit. It's worth knowing where the water will come from before anyone drains the pool.

County rules apply, not city rules

New River isn't part of a city, so it falls under Maricopa County. If any part of your project needs a permit, it goes through the county.

If you're planning bigger changes, it's worth checking with the county early.

Start-up care matters more on well water

A fresh surface needs careful water balance in its first weeks. Well water can carry minerals or metals that stain a new finish.

Our pool start-up service tests and balances the water from day one. That gives the new finish a clean start, whatever the source.

New River pool questions

Can't find your answer? Call (602) 550-8627.

Do you come out to New River?

Yes. New River is in our service area, and the on-site estimate is free. If your home is down a dirt road or a long private drive, mention it when you book so we can plan the trip.

My house is on a well. Can I still refill after a resurface?

Often, yes, but a pool takes a lot of water and the fill shouldn't stop partway. We'll talk through your well or a water delivery before we drain anything.

Do I need a permit for pool work in New River?

It depends on the scope. Since New River is unincorporated, any permit goes through Maricopa County, so check with the county about your plans.

Why does well water matter for a new finish?

Well water can carry iron or other metals that stain a fresh surface. Start-up care tests for that and balances the water, so the stains don't get a head start.

Can you add decking on a big rural lot?

Yes. A big lot gives you room for a wider deck, a seating area, or a path from the house. We'll plan the layout and materials with you at the visit.

How long will the work take out here?

Most remodels take 1 to 4 weeks. Plan a little extra if the refill depends on well output or a water delivery.
